Nurse Training Enquiries
Nurses have been receiving formal training in Oxfordshire for over 100 years, managed at first by the individual hospitals and later under the Oxford School of Nursing. Nurse training was taken over by Oxford Brookes University in September 1990.
If you are not sure where a nurse trained, The National Archives may be able to help for nurses who served in World War I.
